Suffolk County is surrounded by water on three sides and is notorious for having some of the best beaches in New York. Commute

Just under a 40-minute drive to Hamptons and a 2-hour drive to Montauk, Suffolk County is the perfect location in Long Island. For commuters, take the I-495 (Long Island Expressway) for a two-hour drive to Manhattan. If you’d rather take the train, Suffolk County is served by Suffolk County Transit, Long Island Rail Road, the Hampton Jitney, and Hampton Luxury Liner, all of which connect the county to New York City. Finally, there are several airports to serve travelers, most notably Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, and Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach.
